The correct option is DL4,L1 Let the focal length of the objective lens and eye piece be fo and fe respectively.
Magnifying power of telescope, M=fofe
∴4=fofe⟹fo=4fe..........(1)
Length of the telescope, L=fo+fe
⇒10=fo+fe
⇒10=4fe+fe ......... using (1)
⇒10=5fe⟹fe=2 cm
⇒fo=4×2=8 cm
Thus, the objective lens and eye lens must be L4 and L1 respectively.
