For 5.1 m shelf, let books be required = x
Therefore :
Length of shelf3.4 m5.1 mNumber of books136x
3.4136=5.1x3.4×x=5.1×136x=5.1×1363.4=51×136×1010×34=3×68=204
Required books = 204
