Solution

The correct option is A 96 were tall-coloured, 31 tall-white, 34 dwarf-coloured, 11 dwarf-white
The question is talking about the dihybrid cross of Mendel,
The ratio of dihybrid cross =9:3:3:1
Total progeny of F2 generation =172
So, first we should have to calculate the value of single progeny.
9+3+3+1=16
172÷16=10.7211
Single trail is found in 11 number,
10.72×9=96.7596
10.72×3=32.753134
So almost, 96:31:34:11
Ratio will be appear.
96=Tall - coloured
31= Tall - white
34= Dwarf - coloured
11= Dwarf - white
Option (A) is correct here.
