Initially, balancing point is obtained 20 cm from the right. So, distance of balancing point from left = 120 - 20 = 100 cm.
XY=l120l=100120100=5X=5Y
Now, when balancing 4X against Y, let balancing point be at l1 cm from left.
4XY=l1120l14×5YY=l1120l1l1=114 cm
