in a mixture containing two solid components P AND Q P IS MUCH LESS THAN q and its colour shape and size are different from that of q which is the ideal method to seperate them ?why?

Dear student

When there are two components P and Q and P is less in amount than Q
Colour shape and size of P is different from Q, then we can separate them by hand picking. We can pick out P from the mixture. Or by use of a sieve we can separate P from Q. A sieve with the hole size of P can be used to strain out P , with Q remaining in the mixture.
