Total mixture$=35l$

Amount of milk $=4x$

Amount of water $=x$

Therefore we have

$x+4x=35l$

$\Rightarrow 5x=35l$

$\Rightarrow x=\frac{35}{5}l$

$x=7l$

Amount of water $=x=7l$

Amount of milk $=4x=4\times 7l=28l$

If $7$ liters of water is added then the amount of water $=14l$

Amount of milk $=28l$

and the ratio of milk $:$ water will be

$28l:14l$

$=2l:1l$.
