In a model of a ship , the mast is 6 cm high, while the mast of the actual ship is 9 m high. Of the length of the shop is 33 m, how long is the model of the ship

Let the length of the model ship he x cm. The given information is
Height of mast of model ship=6cm
Height of mast of actual ship=9m
Length of ship=33cm

We know that the dimensions of the actual ship and the model ship are directly proportional to each other.

Therefore we obtain:- 9/6=33/x
9x=33*6
9x=198
x=198/9=22cm
Thus, the length of the model ship is 22 cm.
