In a orchard 1/5 are orange trees , 3/13 are mango trees and rest are banana trees. If the banana trees are 148 in number. Find the total numbers of trees in orchard

Let the number of trees be $x$

According to the question:

$\frac{1}{5}\times x$ - orange trees

$\frac{3}{13}\times x$- mango trees
So, the number of banana trees

$=x-(\frac{x}{5}+\frac{3x}{13})$
$=x-\frac{28x}{65}$
$=\frac{37}{65}$
Hence, $\frac{37x}{65}=148$
$\Rightarrow x=260$
no. of orange trees$=\frac{1}{5}\times 260=52$
no. of mango trees$=\frac{3}{13}\times 260=60$
