According to condition
Area of parallelogram = 2$\times$ (perimeter of parallelogram)
Perimeter of parallelogram = 8+4+8+4= 24 cm
Since area is twice the perimeter , we have
Area = 2 $\times$ 24 = 48 cm${}^2$
Area of a parallelogram = Base x height
8$\times$ height = 48 cm${}^2$
Hence , Height = 6 cm
