The correct option is C31:35
AB=DC and AD=BC
[Both pairs of opposite sides of a parallelogram are equal] 2x+5=y+1 ⇒2x−y=−4 ........(1) y+5=3x−4 ⇒3x−y=9 ........(2)
On subtracting (1) from (2), we get, (3x−y)−(2x−y)=9−(−4) ⇒x=13
So, AB=2(13)+5=26+5=31
And, BC=3(13)−4=39−4=35
Thus, the ratio of AB:BC=31:35.
