Total length of the wall = 2400 cm.
Length of each brick = 7 cm.

To calculate number of bricks required, divide 2400 by 7.

Calculating 2400÷7 by box method,


So, for 2400÷7, the final quotient is 342 and the remainder is 6.

∴ The total number of bricks used to line the wall is 342.

And, the length of the wall that remains without any bricks is 6 cm.
