Total length of the wall = 2400 inches.
Length of each brick = 7 inches.

So, for 2400÷7, the final quotient is 342 and the remainder is 6.

∴ The number of bricks used to line the wall is 342.

And, the length of the wall that remains without any bricks is 6 inches.
