John earns ₹ 9,600 per month.
Total expenditure = Expenditure on (Food + house-rent + holiday)
$= \frac{4}{16} \times 9600 + \frac{3}{8} \times 9600 + \frac{1}{6} \times 9600$
$= 2400 + 3600 + 1600 = 7600$
Saving = Salary - Total expenditure $= 9600 - 7600 = 2000$
