a2+b2=c2
a2+82=102
a2=10064=36=6cm
Since, there are two triangles that measures 6cm and 8cm. Their area together would be 6×8=48cm2
There are two rectangles that measure 12cm×8cm×2=192cm2
There are two triangles at the base that measure (4×12)=48cm2
Total area =48+192+48=288 cm2
