Diffusion Pressure Deficit = Osmotic Pressure - Wall Pressure.
Wall pressure is the same as Turgor pressure. When a cell is placed in a hypertonic solution water leaves the cell. Such a cell is said to be plasmolysed. The water loss results in an in­crease in the osmotic pressure and decrease of the turgor pressure such that the value of turgor pressure becomes zero. Hence the DPD is equal to OP. Thus the correct answer is option A.
