Find the number of days
Let, the number of hens be $H$ , the number of days be $D$ , the number of eggs be $W$ .
Now,
$H_{1} = 50, H_{2} = 20 W_{1} = 200, W_{2} = 400 D_{1} = 2, D_{2} = ?$
$\Rightarrow \frac{H_{1} \times D_{1}}{W_{1}} = \frac{H_{2} \times D_{2}}{W_{2}} \Rightarrow \frac{50 \times 2}{200} = \frac{20 \times D_{2}}{400} \Rightarrow \frac{50 \times 2}{10} = D_{2} \Rightarrow D_{2} = 10 days$
Hence, in $10 days$ , $20$ hens give $400$ eggs.
