Solution

The correct option is A 88.15 %
We know,
Molar mass of CH3CHO=44 g/mol

Therefore, 20 g CH3CHO=2044 mol CH3CHO=0.45 mol CH3CHO

10 g O2=1032mol O2=0.31 mol

The given balanced chemical reaction is:
2CH3CHO+O22CH3COOH

So, 2 moles of CH3CHO react with 1 mole of O2

0.45 moles CH3CHO will react with 0.225 moles of O2

So, moles of CH3COOH produced=0.45 mol

Molar mass of CH3COOH=60 g/mol

Hence, 0.45 moles CH3COOH=60×0.45 g = 27 g

Therefore, percentage yield = 23.827×100=88.15 %
