In a quadrilateral PQRS, PQ = 4 cm, QR = 3 cm, RS = 5.9 cm, QS = 4.8 cm and PR = 5.5 cm. Find the value of PS.
1 cm
Step 1: Draw PQ = 4 cm
Step 2: From Q take a radius of 3 cm and draw an arc. Also from P take a radius of 5.5 cm and draw an arc such that it intersects the arc drawn from Q. Mark the intersection as 'R'.
Step3: From Q take a radius of 4.8 cm and draw an arc. Also from R, take a radius of 5.9 cm and draw an arc such that it intersects the arc drawn from Q. Mark the point as 'S'.
Step 4: Join the points P,Q,R and S to get quadrilateral PQRS.
Step 5: Measure PS. It will be 1 cm.
