The correct option is B 60 cm from the open end.
Frequency of first resonance in closed pipe ν=v4L1 ....(1)
where L1=20 cm
Frequency of next resonance in closed pipe ν=3v4L2 ....(2)
Equating (1) and (2), we get
v4L1=3v4L2
L2=3L1=3×20=60 cm
