Consider an equilateral triangle with each side =2a.
So each angle of ABC is 60o.
From A draw ADBC then BD=DC=a.
Also, ADB=90o and BAD=30o

From right angled triangle ADB, we have
AD=AB2BD2=(2a)2(a)2
=4a2a2=3a2=3a

Now, in right angled ADB, base BD=a,AD=3a
and hypotenuse =AB=2a
sin60o=ADAB=3×a2×a=32

So, 32 is correct.
