Question

In a room there are two kids and a few dogs. If the total number of legs in the room are 28, how many dogs are there?

Open in App
Solution

Number of kids in the room = 2
So, number of human legs in the room = 2 × 2
= 4
Total number of legs in the room = 28
Number of dog legs in the room = 28 - 4
= 24
Each dog has 4 legs, so the number of dogs in the room = 24 ÷ 4
= 6
