The correct option is D 24
On shifting 4 places to the left, Komal is 10th from the left end of the row. Thus, Komal's original position was 14th from the left end. Swati is 3 places to the right of Komal's original positon. Clearly, Swati is 17th from the left end. This can easily be understood from the following figure.

Now, Swati's position from right = (Total number of girls - Swati's position from left) + 1 = 40
17 + 1 = 23 + 1 = 24
So, Swati is 24th from the right end of the row.
