Suresh is $8th$ from left
After interchanging of their positions, Suresh becomes $16th$ from left and Mukesh becomes $8th$ from left.
So total no of boys $=$ Suresh position from left +Mukesh position from right $-1$
$\Rightarrow 16+8-1=23$
Mukesh position from right after interchange
=Total boys - Mukesh position from left $+1$
$=23-8+1=16$
Hence, option 'B' is correct.
