In a row of boys, Ram is fifth from the left and Laxman is sixth from the right. When they exchange their positions, then Ram becomes thirteenth from the left. What will be Laxman’s position from the right?
14th
Ram’s new position is 13th from left. But it is the same as Laxman’s earlier position which is 6th from the right.
Thus, the row consists of (12+1+5) = 18 boys.
Now, Laxman’s new position is Ram’s earlier position which is 5th from the left.
Number of boys to the right of Laxman = (18-5) = 13.
So, Laxman’s new position is 14th from the right.
