Seema and Reema are ninth from right and tenth from left respectively.

After interchanging their positions, Seema and Reema are ${17}^{th}$ from right and ${18}^{th}$ from left respectively.

To obtain ${17}^{th}$ place, Seema have to shift $8$ places ahead.

Now as she in place of Reema and Reema was ${10}^{th}$ from left, so now Seema will be ${10}^{th}$ from left.

Thus, there are $9$ people to the left and $16$ people to the right of Seema.

So, total no. of girls $=9+16+1=26$.

Hence, option B is correct.
