No. of boys b are $\frac{3}{8}x$

Given that $g=120+b$

$\frac{5x}{8}=120+\frac{3x}{8}$

$\frac{2x}{8}=120$

$\frac{x}{4}=120$

$x=480$

$\therefore$Strength of school$=480$

No. of girls$=\frac{5}{8}\times 480=300$

No. of boys$=480-300$

$=180$
