As given us, In a school there are$3000$ students out of which $1800$ are boys

So, Number of girls = $3000-1800=1200$ girls

Now ratio between boys and girls $\frac{No.ofboys}{No.ofgirls}=\frac{1800}{1200}=\frac{6\times 3\times 100}{6\times 2\times 100}=\frac{3}{2}$

Hence the required ratio is $3:2$
