Step 2 : Total number of students at end of the year
Number of students left the school $= 85$
Number of students in the school $= 2150$ ( calculated above)
Now, total number of students at the end of the year $=$ $T h H T O 2 1 5 0 - 8 5$
We get,
$T h H T O Carryover 0 14 10 2 1 5 0 - 8 5 2 0 6 5$
Hence, the required number of students in the school are $2065$
