Let the scouts in scout camp = 100
Then, scouts from Gujarat = 40 % of 100 $= \frac{40}{100} \times 100 = 40$
and scouts from Ahmedabad = $20 % o f 40 = \frac{20}{100} \times 40 = 8$
$∴$ Percentage of scouts from Ahmedabad $= \frac{S c o u t s f r o m A h m e d a b a d}{T o t a l s c o u t s} \times 100 % = \frac{8}{100} \times 100 % = 8 %$
