Let the scouts in scout camp = 100
Then, scouts from Gujarat = 40 % of 100 $=\frac{40}{100}\times 100=40$
and scouts from Ahmedabad = $20\%of40=\frac{20}{100}\times 40=8$
$\therefore$ Percentage of scouts from Ahmedabad $=\frac{ScoutsfromAhmedabad}{Totalscouts}\times 100\%=\frac{8}{100}\times 100\%=8\%$
