In a sexual reproduction variation occurs frequently.Although some plants undergoes sexual reproduction,they look alike but humans differ.why?

Dear Student,

Sexual reproduction involving fusion of male and female gamete leads to variation due to crossing over that takes place during division. Even in plants the variation can be seen in the seed shape, flower and other characteristics. They do not look alike.
