Since he sells one table and one chair in $ x and $ y respectively
Hence,
Selling cost of three tables =3×x
=$ 3x
Selling cost of four chairs
=4×y
=$ 4y
Total money earned
= Selling cost of three tables + Selling cost of four chairs
=$(3x+4y)
