number greater than 4.

Given: A dice is thrown one time

Outcomes are 1,2,3,4,5,6

Total number of outcomes =6

Now, since numbers greater than 4 are: 5 and 6.

Therefore, number of favourable outcomes =2

Probability of getting a number greater than 4

=Number of favourable outcomesTotal number of possible outcomes=26

=13

Hence, the probability of getting a number greater than 4 is 13.
