Number of possible outcomes=36

Outcomes with doublets=1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5 and 6,6

Number of favourable outcomes=6

We know that PE=NumberoffavourableoutcomesNumberofpossibleoutcomes

So, PE=636

=16

Hence, the probability of getting doublet=16
