Let A, I, O be the set of students who bagged medals in athletics, indoor games and outdoor games respectively.
It is given that
n(A)=58, n(I)=20, n(O)=25, n(AIO)=78 and n(AIO)=5.
Let x denotes the number of students who got medals in athletics and indoor games only, y denotes the number of students who got medals in indoor games and outdoor games only, z denotes the number of students who got medals in athletics and outdoor games only.
This data can be represented in form of Venn Diagram as
