$T o t a l n u m b e r o f p e o p l e w h o p a r t i c i p a t e d i n t h e s u r v e y = 58$

$⟹ 2 x + 3 x + 4 x + y + 2 y + 3 y + x = 58$
$⟹ 10 x + 6 y = 58$

Dividing both side of the equation by 2, we get:
