In a survey conducted among 58 ice cream lovers, the data was recorded as a Venn diagram. If the total number of people who eat pistachio flavored ice cream is 25, find the number of people who prefer strawberry over the other flavors.

Total number of people who participatedin the survey=58

2x+3x+4x+y+2y+3y+x=58
10x+6y=58

Dividing both side of the equation by 2, we get:

5x+3y=29.......Equation 1

Also,

Total number of people who eat pistachioflavored icecream=25

3x+x+y+2y=25
4x+3y=25.......Equation 2

Calculating the difference between "Equation 1" and "Equation 2", we get:

x=4

Number of people who preferstrawberry over the other flavors=4x=4×4=16
