Step 1: Determining the number of student taking apple or orange juice

Let P be the set of total student surveyed and L denote the students taking apple juice and M denote the students taking orange juice,

then , nP=400,nL=100,nM=150,nLM=75

nLM=nL+nM-nLmnLM=100+150-75nLM=175

so, 175 students are taking atleast one juice, so statement i) is true.

Step 2: Determining the number of students that doesn't take any of the juices

nLMc=nP-nLM=400-175=225

Hence, 225 students were taking neither apple nor orange juice so statement ii) is also true..

Therefore, correct option is C
