The correct option is A above 10 km from ground
Loudness, L=10×log10(IIo)
where I=Ior2
L=10×log10(1r2)
Now, 160=10×log10(1(100)2) ..............(1)
Let the altitude be x m for the sound intensity of 120 dB.
So, 120=10log10(1x2) ..............(2)
1612=log10110000loge1x2
4=log10x210000x=10000 m=10 km above the ground.
