Given,
Principle = ₹3,000;
Given that the amount doubles itself
Amount = 2 × 3000 = ₹6,000
Interest earned = Amount - Principle
= 6000 - 3000 = ₹3,000
Time = 5 years

S.I = P×R×T100
3,000 = 3,000×R×5100
3,000×100 = 3,000×R×5
R = 3,000×1003,000×5

R = 20%
