The correct option is D 3 : 1
In a transformer, we know that
V2V1=N2N1
where V1 and V2 are voltage across primary and secondary coils respectively and N1 and N2 are respective number of turns.
Also, the transformer doesn't add or take away energy, so the power in
the primary and secondary is equal:
V1I1=V2I2
Therefore, I1I2=N2N1
I1I2=600200=31
Hence, desired ratio is 3:1. (D)
