In a transformer, there are $10000$ turns in the primary coil and $25000$ turns in the secondary coil.An AC EMF $e=50sin\pi t$ is applied across primary coil ,find the peak EMF across the secondary coil in ideal conditions.

As per as given turns ratio ,this is $1:2.5$ set up tranformer

Using transformer equation

$\frac{e_1}{e_2}=\frac{N_1}{N_2}$

$e_2=\frac{N_2}{N_1}\times e_1$

$\frac{25,000}{10,000}\times 50V$

$e_2=125V$
