The correct option is A 120-50 = 70mL
Stoke volume is the volume of blood pumped by the left ventricle per beat towards the heart.It does not account for the total blood present in the left ventricle but it is only two third of the blood which is expelled per beat. The formula to calculate stroke volume is SV =EDV-ESV (stroke volume =End disystolic volume - end systolic volume). Thus if we calculate EDV =120 ESV =50 than SV = 120 - 50 which is equal to 70. Thus the correct answer is option A.
