Given, Design Speed, V = 75 kmph

= 753.6m/s

= 20.83m/s

Deflection angle, N=|n1n2|=160(175)

= |0.03|=0.03

Rate of change of acceleration for valley curve,

C=0.6m/s3

Hence, length of valley curve

LV=2NV3C=20.03×20.8330.6

= 42.52 m
