The correct option is B 0.05 mm
MSD = Main scale divisions
VSD = Vernier scale divisions
From the data given in the question,
1 MSD=0.5 mm and, 10 VSD = 9 MSD
1 VSD=910MSD=910×0.5=0.45 mm
Vernier constant(VC) or Least count(LC),
=1 MSD1 VSD=0.50.45=0.05 mm
