Number of division on vernier scale $=10$

Main scale reading $=1.8cm$

Division of vernier coinciding $=4^{th}$

$L.C=\frac{1}{10}mm=0.1mm=0.1cm$

Length of rod $=$ main scale reading $+$ vernier division coinciding $\times L.C$

$=1.8+4$ X $0.01$

$=1.84cm$
