In a water tank, the water level is at 18steps below the top, A frog wants to go out of the tank he jumps 4 steps up and two steps down with every move. In how many jumps he will be out of the tank

For solving this

For coming up frogs jump 4 steps up and 2 step down

Consider up jumps as positive while down jumps as negative

So (+4)+(-2)=+2

So in two jumps frogs come two steps up

So for coming 18 steps up, he has to make 18 jumps
