Solution

The correct option is C Karachi, Lahore
It was in 1856 that the British constructed the East Indian Railway Company line. The line in question ran between Karachi and Lahore. Baked bricks were discovered by construction workers during the process of laying down this line. A British archaeologist named Alexander Cunningham carried out a preliminary excavation in Harappa between 1872 and 1873. He visited the site and published reports about the place, describing the plan of the site and a few artifacts that were discovered.
