Solution

The correct option is A True
When a body is in motion, it is being acted upon by kinetic friction. To stop again, it will need friction either for braking or if there's no braking then after the moving force is removed it will come to a stop due to friction between it and the surface. So for stopping any kind of motion, friction is required.
