In addition of numbers please help me how to weigh 70gms of sugar, salt, chilli, and pepper

To weigh 70 gms of each item first weight sugar of 70 gms then weight salt till weigh machine reaches to 140 gm as 70+70=140, then weight chilli upto 210gm as 70+70+70=210 and then weight pepper upto 280gm as 70+70+70+70=280
