A 100 W bulb is used in houses for the light. When the bulb is working, it emits various types of radiation which are:

  • Infrared Radiation: This radiation from the bulb can be experienced as the heating effect. It increases the temperature of the ambient.
  • Ultraviolet Radiation: The bulb emits ultraviolet radiation, and it is not good for human skin; therefore, nowadays, 100 W bulbs are not generally used.
